Pretoria Isofemale lines were collected in Pretoria, South Africa in February 2001. All 24 lines had the siII haplotype: 23 were infected with thewRi Wolbachiastrain and one was uninfected.

Cape Town Isofemale lines were also collected in Cape Town, South Africa in January 2000. All five lines had the siII haplotype: four were infected with thewRi Wolbachiastrain and one was uninfected.
